Location: Nanomaterials Group, Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Faculty of Sciences, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
Eligibility criteria: The ideal candidate should have a Chemistry degree and Master’s degree, with some background in inorganic synthesis. He/she should have some experience with analytical methods, such as IR, UV-Vis, NMR, etc. A good academic record and English level are required, as well as good writing and learning capacities.
Research objectives: This project is aimed at developing novel coordination compounds (materials) designed to perform as photocatalysts for hydrogen production, CO2 valorization, the remediation of polluted waters through the photo-oxidation of persistent organic dyes and/or as light down-shifters (DS) to improve the performance of solar photovoltaic cells.
Duration: 3 years.
Starting date: October-November 2023.
