The presentation aims to provide information and generate a debate between the evolution of the scientific and technological race to achieve increasingly efficient photovoltaic cells, and the race of manufacturers of photovoltaic cells and modules to achieve an increasingly better relationship between the power of the commercial photovoltaic modules and their cost. From this debate, we will try to reach conclusions about the role that the research teams of our universities should play with their technological and human resources in the best direction.
