The Institute for Advanced Research in Chemical Sciences (IAdChem) is a University Research Institute of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), ranked among the top Spanish institutions in Chemistry. The Institute was founded in 2016 with a shared vision: to boost scientific excellence and catalyze high-impact interdisciplinary research in Chemistry. Its mission is to advance frontier chemistry — across catalysis, nanoscience, molecular engineering and computation — to address key societal challenges in sustainability, health and functional materials.
IAdChem supports the synergies and collaborations of multiple Research Groups, maximizing excellence and collaborations across 4 Research Clusters:
