The research community at IAdChem is organised into four major Research Clusters, bringing together researchers from differente research groups and departamente od the Faculty of Science at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). By connecting complementary areas of expertise, these clusters foster interaction and collaboration across the institute. The four Research Clusters are:

- [C] Nanomaterials ans Sensors (8 groups). Cluster Coordinator: Daniel Jaque.
- [D] Modelling of Processes and Materials (4 groups). Cluster Coordinator: Manuel Alcamí.
