Previous experience in organic synthesis and spectroscopic characterization is welcome.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Research objective:<\/strong> The candidate will be involved in the preparation of metallo-organic cages, built with state-of-the-art porphyrinoid photosensitizers with synergistic chemotheraphy and photdynamic therapy abilities under hypoxic conditions. The synthesis will be developed in our laboratoires at the Department of Organic Chemistry of the Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid. The photochemical and antitumor activity studies will be performed in collaboration with the group of Prof. Santiago Nonell at Universidad Ram\u00f3n Llul in Barcelona, Spain.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Funding project:<\/strong> &#8220;New strategies to overcome the challenge of hypoxia in photodynamics. Synthesis of metal-organic cages and porphyrinoid biohybrids&#8221; funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. Ref.
