We are thrilled to announce that Prof. Tomás Torres, Emeritus Full Professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and former Director of the IAdChem, has been recognized with the National Research Award 2024 in Chemical Sciences and Technologies in the category “Enrique Moles”. This is Spain’s most important recognition in the field of scientific research.
He has been awarded for his high-level contributions in the field of new molecular materials in emerging technological areas, recognized internationally for the quality and originality of his research, leading pioneering projects in the field of solar cells that have managed to break the limits of knowledge, addressing social challenges such as photovoltaic energy and nanomedicine.
